The Una River is one of the most beautiful rivers in the Balkans — and one of the most unique. Protected as both a National Park and a UNESCO-listed site, it flows through the northwest corner of Bosnia in a series of waterfalls, cascades, and pools of impossible turquoise. The rafting section near Bihać combines easy floats with genuine rapids, and passes through landscapes you simply don't see anywhere else.
The Una is also a more accessible river than the Tara — suitable for a wider range of ages and fitness levels, and easy to reach from Split, Zagreb, or Sarajevo as a full-day adventure. We run sections that suit beginners as well as a more technical upper section for experienced paddlers.
Meet at Martin Brod or Bihać (depending on chosen section). Safety briefing and equipment. On the water by 09:30.
Paddle past the Una's famous waterfall sections. Stops to swim, explore side channels, and photograph the turquoise cascades. Riverside lunch.
Finish the route at the lower take-out point by 15:30–16:00. Equipment return. Optional visit to Bihać old town.

10 years for the standard section. This is the youngest minimum of any of our rafting tours. Children between 10–15 must be with a parent or guardian.
The Una flows over calcium carbonate rock which creates the distinctive pale turquoise-to-electric-blue colour. The water is extremely clear (visibility to 5m+) and unedited in any of our photos — what you see is what you get.
Highly recommended. Plitvice and Una are 2 hours apart and are both UNESCO-level water landscapes. Plitvice on Day 1 (arrive late morning, walk the lakes, overnight), Una on Day 2 (morning raft). We can help coordinate this itinerary.
We run from Martin Brod (upper) to Lohovo, which includes the main waterfall sections and the best rapids. River levels vary by season — in April–May the river is higher and faster; in August it's lower and more suitable for swimming stops.
